Indian International Conference on Social Media & Developing Societies
has chosen Prof. Mohamed Abdulzaher, Artificial Intelligence Journalism Pioneer and CEO the Artificial Intelligence Journalism for Research and Forecasting (AIJRF), to be the advisory board of the annual specialized academic media conference, and a guest speaker at international conference.
The conference which will be organized by the department of media studies and IQAC Christ Nagar College, Trivandrum in partnership with the AIJFR between the 10th and 13th of November 2021, titled : “ Social Media & Developing Societies
Emerging Trends, Platforms, Impact and Digital Citizenship.”
Prof. Abdulzaher will explore at the conference his new concept “Covidization of Media Industry”. It discusses how the pandemic has changed the Media world and the entertainment industry. Also, how COVID-19 has disrupted and readjusted media by creating new roles, patterns and skills.”

About Dr. Abdulzaher
Dr. Mohamed Abdulzaher , an academic, author, and pioneer of Artificial Intelligence (AI) journalism. He is assistant professor in Digital Public Relations and Artificial Intelligence Journalism , and holds a Ph.D. in Mobile Applications Development and Intelligent Government Services in UAE.
Dr. Abdulzaher his body of work spans over 80 books, papers and reports (English and Arabic) in media studies and AI journalism.
He is the co-founder of Artificial Intelligence Journalism for Research and Forecasting (AIJRF) UAE-based think tank, and founder and board of directors member of Artificial Intelligence Journalism World Forum (AIJWF), the global platform and conference, that is designing the future of media, touching human lives 2050, and the future of sustainable cities.
Dr. Abdulzaher has 20 years of professional experience in both online and print media formats under his belt; his craft has taken him to numerous countries and regions as a mass communication practitioner. Since he is fluent in both Arabic and English, his bilingual skills have made him an asset to several high-profile communication organizations. He has been a news editor, journalist, and media trainer for the British Broadcasting Corporation World Service (BBC) in the UK, the United Nations (UN), the Financial Times Group, and Thomson Reuters.

He has also conceptualized and defined 7G Journalism, “a new era in developing, upgrading and restructuring of the media industry fully compatible with the techniques of the Fifth Industrial Revolution.
He is also an editor-in-chief of the Artificial Intelligence Journalism Journal (AIJJ), a peer-reviewed, double-blind, open-access academic publication focusing broadly on AI journalism.
