Washington D.C. In a fashion similar to The Space Race of the 1950s, the major tech companies today are battling to dominate the artificial intelligence (AI) field in the modern AI race (AIR). AI projects, applications, and inventions are being created every minute. The abundance of AI inventions has rendered keeping track of and representing them impossible.
AI race (AIR) has heralded the advent of the fifth industrial revolution, heralding the dawn of technological progress era. To keep abreast of their competitors in the AIR, these major enterprises are now obtaining ideas and even dreams, if attainable.
On November 30, 2022, mankind beheld the birth of ChatGPT, the first-of-its-kind AI search engine presented by OpenAI, the leading company in the field of AI research and deployment. Unlike previous chatbots, ChatGPT generates text automatically based on written prompts. ChatGPT already made its mark in the AI world, offering an amazing experience for people who are looking for more personalized interaction with AI technology.
In a blink of an eye, when the whole world were busy arguing, being thrilled by, or even experiencing ChatGPT, DALL·E 2, a neural network that can generate images from text descriptions., joined the forces in the field as a key player. Another OpenAI search evolution became the focus and already won the favor of many.
OpenAI, on September 28, 2022, announced on its official website that the waitlist for the DALL·E 2 beta had been removed, so users could sign up and start using their new application immediately.

Since the announcement, more than 1.5 million users start creating over two million images a day with DALL·E 2, ranging from artists and creative directors to authors and architects.
Evidently, this caught the attention of Google; in a memo, Google and Alphabet’s CEO, Sundar Pichai, announced plans to reorganize groups within the company to confront the danger posed by ChatGPT.
DALL·E 2 And DALL-E
DALL·E 2 is an extension of the original DALL-E, which is a deep learning model developed by OpenAI that can generate images from textual descriptions. The original DALL-E model was trained on a dataset of text-image pairs, and it is able to generate a wide variety of images, from photorealistic to highly stylized. DALL·E 2 is an updated version of the model that has been trained on a larger dataset and can generate higher-quality images with more fine-grained details. It is also able to generate images from longer and more complex textual descriptions than the original DALL-E model.
DALL·E 2 system is trained on a dataset of images and their associated textual descriptions, then uses that training to generate new images when given a new textual prompt.

Revenue and Investments
Joining forces to challenge Google, Microsoft may soon yield returns on its billion-dollar investment in OpenAI applications to powered Bing. According to two people who have first-hand information of the plans, Microsoft is devising a version of its Bing search engine that utilizes the AI of ChatGPT to answer some search questions instead of merely presenting a list of links. Microsoft desires that the new feature, likely to be launched before the end of March 2023, will allow them to outdo their competitor Google.
In 2015, Elon Musk and other investors founded OpenAI and released ChatGPT last November, attracting much attention when the company made it available for the public to try out for free. People can type a query and get a response in a dialogue format by answering questions in a conversational style.
According to Reuters, the OpenAI company, which developed the widely discussed ChatGPT and DALLE 2 artificial intelligence systems, expects to generate $1 billion in revenue by 2024.
Amazon Web Services and Infosys have both made investments in OpenAI, however, the sums invested were not publicized.
The growth in investment in AI has been rapid, as the demand for AI technologies has grown and new innovations have been made. As a result, the future of artificial intelligence has attracted a lot of attention from investors and corporations.
During the AI race, the future is uncertain
It is difficult to predict exactly how the development and use of artificial intelligence (AI) will progress in the future. However, it is likely that AI will continue to be integrated into a wide range of industries and applications, potentially leading to significant changes in the way that work is done and how people live their lives. Some experts predict that AI could potentially lead to significant job displacement as machines become capable of performing tasks that were previously done by humans. According to a recent research Through testing GPT-3.5 on questions from the US Bar Exam, researchers have predicted that GPT-3.5 and similar models could potentially pass the exam quite soon. It is important for people to be aware of the potential risks and challenges posed by the development and use of AI, as well as the potential benefits, and to consider how best to address these issues as AI continues to evolve. However, while conflict rages between tech giants and institutions working or investing in this field, the public interest or risks associated with these projects remain unconsidered.
