Dubai- Artificial Intelligence Journalism
Dr. Mohamed Abdulzaher, CEO of the Artificial Intelligence Journalism for Research and Forecasting announced the establishment of 2 new units in AIJRF, namely: The Artificial Intelligence & Cybersecurity and Intelligent Government Services Units, as part of the expansions that the AIJRF is planning in 2020.
The two new units : The Artificial Intelligence & Cybersecurity and Intelligent Government Services Units will support the AIJRF’s role in the fields of teaching and learning in artificial intelligence .
AI & Cybersecurity Unit
The Artificial Intelligence & Cybersecurity provides all kind of services and training related to information security based on the use of artificial intelligence tools and technologies, to secure open information network systems, applications, and related devices.
The unit is headed by Dr. Rohit Thanki, an expert in cybersecurity systems, and AI researcher with more than 8 years of R&D experience in the fields of computer, artificial intelligence, medical image analysis, security, and biometrics as well as academic experience in various engineering institutions in India.
Biography
Dr. Rohit holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communications, a Master’s degree in Communication Engineering, and a Ph.D. in Electronics and Communications with specialization in Digital Image Processing and Biometric Security. He is an expert in medical image analysis, artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, digital watermarks, biometric security, pressure sensing, and signal processing. He also has more than 89 scientific papers published in Scopus indexed journals.
Dr. Rohit will provide several important trainings related to cybersecurity, as well as writing for international scientific journals in the coming period. Through AIJRF, he will also provide training and specialized advice to governments and officials in the field of cybersecurity.
Intelligent Government Services
As for the Intelligent Government Services Unit, it will provide consultations to governments and officials regarding the application of artificial intelligence technologies, to help improving government performance and services provided to citizens.
Finally, The Artificial Intelligence Journalism for research and forecasting will announce soon a several new courses as part of its intensive activities in the coming period.
